Mónica García Sevilla received her B.S. in Audiovisual Systems Engineering in 2014 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, and her M.Sc. in Artificial Vision in 2016 from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, Spain. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Science and Technology at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She is also working as a researcher at Instituto Universitario de Investigaciones Biomédicas y Sanitarias (IUIBS) from Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
In 2019 she did an internship at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD, USA) in the Department of Computer Science, Malone’s Center for Engineering in Healthcare.
Her research interests are computer-assisted surgery, 3D printing, augmented and virtual reality, and surgical skills assessment.
